Photographer Sarah Moon inspired a new makeup trend this AW13 – with her iconic photos.  The blurred effect inspired makeup artist Tom Pecheux to use a cotton ball to soften the intensity of the pigment.  This technique will work on all shades, but doesn’t it look lovely in red?

New variations on how to wear are favorite hue never cease to amaze me, here we see Rihanna sporting the latest trend. If you look closely you can see  the lip pencil is several shades darker. While I would never wear a lip pencil darker than my lip color doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. Rihanna also can pull-it-off, question is can you?

Another favorite show that my sisters and I watch every Sunday night is “Girls”. It’s crazy, funny and realistic. Zosia Mamet who plays Shoshanna recently began sporting a red pout and went from brunette to blonde.
