I don’t know about you, but I love looking at online magazines, especially The Edit by Net-A-Porter.com.
I enjoy reading the articles by CHRISTA D’SOUZA and am always left inspired with a new way to wear the contents of my existing wardrobe.
I just read her newest piece on Style Rethink, a combination of Off Duty/On Duty wardrobe essentials that will help us all get it together.
“You OWE it to yourself to look FLAWLESS at all times. Your public EXPECTS it of you” – CHRISTA D’SOUZA via Net-A-Porter.com
And you must remember how much I love Olivia Palermo? She represents utter chic.

I don’t know if you guys are aware, I really don’t buy makeup anymore, and I wear very little of it. However I did visit my neighborhood Benefit location on Fillmore Street (to visit my friend Joseph, makeup artist extraordinaire) and broke down and bought they’re real mascara.
Why? Because it truly is one of the world’s best mascaras, they are on to something over there.
I also received a deluxe sample of their new eyeliner, don’t know if I’ll try it yet, but I’m sure it’s just as good as everything else.
What’s your favorite mascara?
This is going to be the 4th night in a row that my sisters and I ordered our dinner from Munchery.com.
Just looking at the menu makes you hungry and they deliver to your door or any location of your choosing.
This is a great way to try food’s we don’t normally prepare ourselves at budget friendly prices.
This was our first dinner, the Chicken Mole and for tonight I am having the Pasta Bolognese with a side Caesar salad.
So, if you’re not feeling well, working late at the office or just want to have dinner delivered try
What’s for dinner?
I know I’ve been out of commission, but I’ve been a bit under the weather these past few days. But I’m feeling much better now.
Visiting my sister Wendy this past weekend I read the New Summer Pleasures edition for W Magazine by Sofia Coppola and I loved it! I really think she should create her own magazine. The content was inspiring and thought-provoking, not to mention the photography.
I enjoyed this version so much that it’s one of the magazines I’m keeping for research and inspiration.
Anything inspire you guys lately?
I first heard about Homeoplasmine on style.com and have been obsessed with trying it. Finally my friend Caroline brought me back a tube from her recent trip to Paris.
I admit, that at first it didn’t seem to make a difference, but after being without it I realized it’s the only thing that kept my lips from drying out.
I apply it under my lipstick and at night before going to bed. Now I just wish they made it in a stick for my makeup bag, for those days when I’m not wearing lipstick.
Each tube lasts a long time and guess what? It’s now available in the states.
These are just some of the contents I have in my makeup bag, the one I never leave home without.
My favorite and current shade of crimson, Jungle Red by Nars.
A Caron compact, I read about them and had to order one from New York.
My favorite hairspray in a travel bottle by Oribe.
Rodin lip balm, it’s just too pretty not to carry around with me.
Koh Gen Do illuminator, for under my eyes.
A sample size bottle of Caudalie’s Divine Oil for hair, face and body.
So, what’s in your makeup bag?
Browsing through my favorite beauty/fashion blogs I stumbled upon the New Cloud Bag by Miu Miu, isn’t it lovely?
Now, I can see myself carrying this baby, after all I’m truly boho chic at heart.
What do you think?
I usually don’t post about sales or events but I can’t help myself on this one. Butter London makes my favorite blue mascara, the color is a bright French Blue named Inky Six and I love it.
It works beautifully with my red lipstick and dark hair. It’s an easy way to add a little drama without going overboard.
Butter London also creates the most gorgeous hues and guess what?
Right now they are offering a 20% Friends & Family Discount.
So if you’ve been dying to try a new and daring shade or just need to replenish your makeup this is the perfect opportunity.
