Happy Christmas ladies, hope everyone is doing well. I know, I’ve been MIA for awhile, but trust me I’ve been going through so many changes, that I can’t seem to keep up with my passion for accumulating new shades of crimson and talking about it.
Do any of you recognize any of these? Recently, I went out and bought two Dragon Girls, I literally layer them underneath other shades and love the results, any new tricks or hues you’ve discovered lately, it’s time to kiss and tell.
Alright, I read about this color and since there is a Mac boutique on Fillmore it wasn’t hard to walk-in. I tried the color and instantly fell in love. Ladies, I’ve become obsessed. I’ve been wearing it everyday for the past few weeks.
The red is a true red, it wears well, not too drying and I just love it. I lip line with Dragon Girl by Nars and fill in with Feels So Grand.
$20 – I call that reasonable don’t you? Any new reds anyone?
Hello my darlings, don’t think I’ve forgotten about you. I haven’t, I think of you everyday, just when you’re busy learning a new job, we don’t have much time for creativity.
I discovered a New shade of red, Wild Ginger by Tom Ford. The shade is more of an orange-red, but gorgeous all the same. I also love Tom’s tried-n-true Cherry Lush, a must have if you know what I mean.
I Know it’s been awhile, I’ve been busy with my new daytime job and my family. I’ve still been writing articles for examiner.com, but I have not really been exploring the world of crimson as much lately.
I did however try a new shade by Hourglass, Iconic I believe and it’s nice, a deep ruby red. Darker than what I’m used to wearing but it works.
Another shade I discovered is Traffic Jam by New York City Color. It’s bright and cheerful, especially with the cold and rainy weather we’ve been experiencing lately.
Hope you’re all doing well and I’ll see you all in the New Year.
