A French woman knows that a lipstick wardrobe is not complete without RED – as a little girl I idolized Diana Vreeland, the Duchess of Windsor and Coco Chanel. They were not only stylish and fashionable, they wore red lipstick. I wore the same shade of red lipstick during my twenties – True Red by Estee Lauder, until it was discontinued.

Anita–I am addicted to your site. I know I can always count on you for the best beauty advice. I thought I would share my favorite RED lip gloss with you. I don’t normally wear reds (I wear more nude colors) but I am in love with Chanel’s Aqualumiere lip gloss in Party RED. It’s high-gloss, moisturizing and not sticky. It goes on a bit sheer but still red enough. And what I love about it, is when the gloss wears off, it still leaves a red tinge to my lips so I don’t feel the need to reapply throughout the day.
