Love your blog. Wonder if you could offer some advice or do a piece on my dilemma. I am getting married and love the red lip look. I want something that is a matt tint during the day and then one that I can wear darker that night. Any suggestions? Perhaps I should just go full on for the day. Afraid to! 🙂 would be interested to hear thoughts and views.

Thank you for stopping by. Congrats on your wedding! I have a few recommendations. I suggest trying on the Lip Maestro by Armani, All of the reds by Nars and try Lady Danger by Mac. My friend had a daytime wedding and wore Mac Ruby Woo. Just go to the store without makeup on, sit in a chair and have the girls bring over all of their reds, choose the one that makes your skin glow and teeth look whiter.
Also, what I do is I play with each shade of red on the palms of my hand and choose the shades to try on that way. Let me know how it goes!
