I found one that I’m going to have to go try on this weekend, as I have been wearing my New Nars “Jungle Red” for the past few months.

L’wren Scott’s death threw me and left me sad. I never knew her, but felt like I did. I read every interview she gave and always thought she was lucky, she was beautiful, talented and had great taste.
Her death seems so surreal, it just came out of left field, it was sudden and unexpected.
She will be missed and may she rest in peace.
I’ve been meaning to walk into my neighborhood Mac Boutique, I mean it’s across from Nars on Fillmore Street.
Why? because Lady Danger appealed to me when it was first launched and it’s been on my list of reds to consider. I do get bored and rotate all of my reds before adding a new one to my collection.
Lady Danger by Mac seems to be a favorite of Alexa Chung’s, so now I have to try it, after all Alexa Chung has never steered me in the wrong direction.

I know she doesn’t wear crimson, but I adore her. I’m hoping the rumor that Sex & the City number 3 is true. Lately when I find myself home alone and with nothing to do I watch the series again and realize that everything they discussed and wore is still relevant today.

I had no idea Queen Elizabeth the 2nd wore red lipstick, what a shocking but pleasant discovery. This just proves my theory that red lipstick is the woman’s equivalent of a man’s power tie.

I have a new “Girl” crush and she’s not only gorgeous, but intelligent and a beauty junkie like the rest of us.
I love successful, stylish and especially women who “kiss and tell” about their beauty secrets, because we are supposed to be pro-woman hood aren’t we?
Nothing more than finding out what people are reading is my love of giving women beauty advice and by that I mean by what products actually work and what beauty services they should consider.
